Import your Scalable Capital trades into a journal

Export your Broker transactions from Scalable Capital, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every buy, sale and savings plan is matched into round trips with statistics and a P&L calendar.

1. Export your trades

  1. Log in to Scalable Capital and open Transactions in your Broker account. The CSV export is part of PRIME+; the FREE broker has none.
  2. Choose the dates: for your first import, a Custom date from your first trade, since a sale whose purchase is older than the range is left out. Then select all the transactions and click Export CSV.

PRIME+ only. Scalable offers the CSV export with PRIME+; the FREE broker and Wealth have none.

A purchase's tax counts, a sale's doesn't. The tax on a sale is the capital-gains tax withheld from your profit, not a trading cost, so it is left out of the trade's fees; a tax on a purchase is included.

Holdings from before the range. Scalable can't sell short, so a sale of shares the file never bought — bought before the dates you exported, or transferred in — is left out and counted, not shown as a short. For your first import, export from your first trade.

Built from the documented format. This importer follows Scalable Capital's export as its documentation and open-source tools describe it, and is tested against that layout — not yet against a file from a NeoTLog user. If yours does not import cleanly, send it to support@neotlog.com and we will fix the importer.

2. What the file looks like

This is the header row the importer is tested against, with one row of sample data underneath it:

date;time;status;reference;description;assetType;type;isin;shares;price;amount;fee;tax;
currency

2026-05-20;10:31:55;Executed;"SCALtU5vW7xY9zA";"Example Corp";Security;Buy;
US0000000001;25;45,20;-1.130,00;0,99;0,00;
EUR

Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.

Semicolons and German numbers (1.130,00 is 1,130), newest first. NeoTLog reads date, time, status (Executed rows only), reference, description, type (Buy, Sell, Savings plan), shares, price, fee and tax. The security's name is the symbol.

3. Import it

  1. Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
  2. Open Import and choose Scalable Capital.
  3. Check Date format: it is preset to YYYY-MM-DD. If your export writes dates another way, change it first, then drop in the file.
  4. Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.

4. What you get

Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:

5. What doesn't import

Questions

Which time zone are the times in?

German time, going by the file. It is preselected on import.

Do I select every transaction?

Yes. The export takes the rows you select, so choose the period, then select all.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Basic is free: 100 trades per calendar year (imported or entered) on one trading account, with no card. Plus adds unlimited imports and accounts, chart screenshots, MAE/MFE and a price chart of each trade; Pro adds AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader. You can try Pro free for 14 days, once per account, with no card.

I trade on another platform too.

NeoTLog reads exports from 60+ platforms, and on Plus and Pro several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
