Import your Revolut trades into a journal

Download your stocks account statement from Revolut, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every buy and sell is matched into round trips with statistics and a P&L calendar.

1. Export your trades

  1. In the Revolut app, open Invest → More → Documents and pick your stocks account (in the UK, tap Stocks).
  2. Choose Account statement — not the Profit and loss statement.
  3. Pick the period All time (or a range covering all your trades) and CSV (Excel works too).
  4. Generate the statement and download it.

Account statement, not Profit and loss. The Profit and loss statement lists matched lots for tax, without the times and prices of your orders. The Account statement has every order.

Commissions come from the total. Revolut has no fee column: a commission is inside Total Amount. Where the total differs from quantity × price by more than the price's rounding, the difference is the trade's fee.

Stock splits are handled. A STOCK SPLIT row lists the shares the split added, or, for a reverse split, took away. The position is adjusted at no cost, so its average entry is the split-adjusted one. Revolut can't sell short either, so a sale of shares the statement never bought is left out and counted, not shown as a short.

Built from the documented format. This importer follows Revolut's export as its documentation and open-source tools describe it, and is tested against that layout — not yet against a file from a NeoTLog user. If yours does not import cleanly, send it to support@neotlog.com and we will fix the importer.

2. What the file looks like

This is the header row the importer is tested against, with one row of sample data underneath it:

Date,Ticker,Type,Quantity,Price per share,Total Amount,Currency,
FX Rate

2024-06-03T13:30:06.672Z,NVDA,BUY - MARKET,1,USD 1150.00,USD 1150,USD,
1.0850

Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.

NeoTLog reads Date, Ticker, Type (BUY - MARKET, SELL - LIMIT), Quantity, Price per share, Total Amount and Currency. Revolut writes money either as USD 222.54 or as $52.07, and both read. The times are UTC, to a fraction of a second, so fills land in the right order.

3. Import it

  1. Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
  2. Open Import and choose Revolut.
  3. Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.

4. What you get

Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:

Questions

Which account?

Each investment account has its own statement — in the UK, the Stocks and Shares ISA is separate from your investment account. Import each into its own account in NeoTLog.

CSV or Excel?

Either, with the same columns. Upload the file as downloaded.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Basic is free: 100 trades per calendar year (imported or entered) on one trading account, with no card. Plus adds unlimited imports and accounts, chart screenshots, MAE/MFE and a price chart of each trade; Pro adds AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader. You can try Pro free for 14 days, once per account, with no card.

I trade on another platform too.

NeoTLog reads exports from 60+ platforms, and on Plus and Pro several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
