Import your Quantower trades into a journal
Export the Trades grid from Quantower, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every fill is matched into round trips with fees, statistics and a P&L calendar.
1. Export your trades
- In Quantower, open the Trades panel from the main menu.
- Select the date range you want to export.
- Right-click inside the Trades panel and select Export data.
- In the export popup, check all columns.
- Select comma separated / CSV as the export format.
- Click Export File.
- Upload the exported CSV file here.
Version 1.147.1 split Date and Time into two columns. NeoTLog joins them back together, so exports from before and after that release both import with the right fill times. If your trades ever land at midnight, that is the symptom to report.
2. What the file looks like
This is the real header row, with one row of sample data underneath it:
Account,Date/Time,Symbol,Description,Symbol type,Expiration date,Strike price,Side,
Order Type,Quantity,Price,Gross P/L,Fee,Net P/L,Trade Value,Trade ID,Order ID,
Position ID,Connection,Comment,

Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.
NeoTLog reads Symbol, Side, Quantity, Price, the date and time, Fee and Symbol type — the last one is how futures, options and crypto get classified correctly rather than guessed from the ticker.
3. Import it
- Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
- Open Import and choose Quantower.
- Drop in the file. The date format is preset to YYYY-MM-DD; the preview shows you straight away if your export uses another one.
- Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.
4. What you get
Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, max drawdown
- Equity curve, P&L calendar by day and week, and time-of-day and session breakdowns
- Commissions and fees, wherever the export carries them
- MAE and MFE per trade — how far the position ran against you and for you before it closed
- Notes, tags and strategies per trade, plus screenshots saved to your account
- AI performance reports and the screenshot SL/TP reader on the paid plans
5. What doesn't import
- Positions and orders grids — only the Trades grid is fill-level
- Backtest and strategy reports
- Account summary panels
Questions
Which grid should I export?
The Trades grid. Orders shows working and cancelled orders, and Positions is a snapshot, so neither gives a complete fill history.
My broker connection shows in the file. Does that matter?
No. NeoTLog ignores the Connection column, but it is useful for you if you run more than one broker through Quantower.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. The free plan includes 100 imports per calendar year and needs no card. Paid plans add AI performance reports, the screenshot SL/TP reader and unlimited imports.
I trade on another platform too.
NeoTLog reads exports from 50+ platforms, and several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
