Import your KuCoin trades into a journal
Export your spot orders from KuCoin, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every buy and sell is matched into round trips with fees, statistics and a P&L calendar.
1. Export your trades
- On the KuCoin website, open Orders and choose Export (or go to kucoin.com/account/download).
- Choose Spot Orders → Filled Orders, the time range (at most one year per export) and a time zone, pick CSV and click Confirm.
- When KuCoin tells you the export is ready, download it under Recent Exports and unzip it. Use the file named Spot Orders_Filled Orders (one row per order) or the one ending (Show Order-Splitting) (one row per fill).
Either spot file. The export ZIP holds Filled Orders and Filled Orders (Show Order-Splitting): one row per order, or one per fill. Either imports, and since both carry the same order IDs, importing both never counts a trade twice. Margin orders, in the same layout, import too, short sales included, named apart from spot (ETH-USDT-MARGIN) so a margin short never closes a spot holding.
Fees in KCS are marked unknown. A fee in one of the pair's own coins is converted at the fill price, but the file has no price for KCS, so a trade with a KCS fee has its fees marked unknown — add them to the trade, or set a fee rule.
Built from the documented format. This importer follows KuCoin's export as its documentation and open-source tools describe it, and is tested against that layout — not yet against a file from a NeoTLog user. If yours does not import cleanly, send it to support@neotlog.com and we will fix the importer.
2. What the file looks like
This is the header row the importer is tested against, with one row of sample data underneath it:

Order Amount,Avg. Filled Price,Filled Amount,Filled Volume,Filled Volume (USDT),
Filled Time(UTC+08:00),Fee,Fee Currency,Tax,Status,

Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.
This is Spot Orders_Filled Orders: one row per order. NeoTLog reads Order ID, Symbol, Side, Avg. Filled Price, Filled Amount, Filled Time, Fee and Fee Currency. The time zone you chose for the export is written into the time column's name — (UTC+08:00) above — and NeoTLog reads it from there, so the times land right whatever your own zone.
3. Import it
- Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
- Open Import and choose KuCoin.
- Check Date format: it is preset to YYYY-MM-DD. If your export writes dates another way, change it first, then drop in the file.
- Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.
4. What you get
Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, max drawdown
- Equity curve, P&L calendar by day and week, time-of-day and hold-time charts, and a filter for each trading session
- Commissions and fees, wherever the export carries them
- MAE and MFE per trade on Plus and Pro — how far the position ran against you and for you before it closed: BTC, ETH and LINK as estimates without a key, other coins with your own free Massive key (Settings → Market data)
- Notes, tags and strategies per trade, plus chart screenshots saved to your account on Plus and Pro
- AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader on Pro
5. What doesn't import
- Futures — their exports give sizes in lots and P&L per position, which this importer doesn't read yet
- Trading bot and convert orders
- Deposits and withdrawals
Questions
Which time zone should I pick in the export?
Any. KuCoin writes it into the file and NeoTLog reads it from there. An older file without it is read in KuCoin's own zone, UTC+8.
An export covers at most a year.
KuCoin caps each export at one year. Export each year and import them oldest first: rows that overlap are recognised, so nothing is counted twice.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. Basic is free: 100 trades per calendar year (imported or entered) on one trading account, with no card. Plus adds unlimited imports and accounts, chart screenshots, MAE/MFE and a price chart of each trade; Pro adds AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader. You can try Pro free for 14 days, once per account, with no card.
I trade on another platform too.
NeoTLog reads exports from 60+ platforms, and on Plus and Pro several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
