Import your Hyperliquid trades into a journal
Export your trade history from Hyperliquid, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every perp and spot fill is matched into round trips with fees, statistics and a P&L calendar.
1. Export your trades
- Open app.hyperliquid.xyz and connect your wallet, or open app.hyperliquid.xyz/tradeHistory/ followed by your address, which needs no wallet. Each sub-account and vault has its own address and exports separately.
- In the panel below the chart, open the Trade History tab.
- Click Export as CSV at the bottom of the table. The file holds your most recent 10,000 fills, perps and spot together.
- The file writes dates the way your browser shows them, in your computer’s time zone: pick the matching date format below (1/5/2026 is month first in a US browser, day first in a UK one).
Dates as your browser writes them. The times are in your browser's language and your computer's time zone, with no zone marked: 10/2/2026 - 14:03:27 in a US browser, 02/10/2026 - 14:03:27 in a UK one, 2.10.2026 - 14:03:27 in a German one. Pick the matching date format on import, and set the file timezone to your computer's if your journal uses another. Other languages' forms read too: 13. 10. 2026 21:07:03 in Czech, the time first in Vietnamese, Arabic and Bengali digits, a Thai Buddhist year. A Persian-language browser writes the Persian calendar, which can't be read: export from a browser set to English.
The most recent 10,000 fills. That is as far back as the export reaches. A position opened before it is priced from its closing fills' P&L, and its entry time is unknown; a close never opens a position the other way. Each sub-account and vault has its own address and exports separately.
Built from the documented format. This importer follows the file exactly as Hyperliquid's web app writes it, and is tested against that layout — not yet against a file from a NeoTLog user. If yours does not import cleanly, send it to support@neotlog.com and we will fix the importer.
2. What the file looks like
This is the header row the importer is tested against, with one row of sample data underneath it:
time,coin,dir,px,sz,ntl,fee,
closedPnl
10/2/2026 - 14:03:27,BTC,Open Long,62150.0,0.015,932.25,0.419512,
-0.419512
Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.
Hyperliquid's web app writes this file itself. NeoTLog reads time, coin, dir (Open Long, Close Short, Long > Short for a flip, Buy and Sell for spot), px, sz, fee and closedPnl. Perps are named like BTC-PERP, spot pairs keep their name (HYPE/USDC), and a spot purchase, which pays its fee in the coin bought, has the fee converted at the fill price.
3. Import it
- Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
- Open Import and choose Hyperliquid.
- Check Date format: it is preset to MM/DD/YYYY. If your export writes dates another way, change it first, then drop in the file.
- Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.
4. What you get
Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, max drawdown
- Equity curve, P&L calendar by day and week, time-of-day and hold-time charts, and a filter for each trading session
- Commissions and fees, wherever the export carries them
- MAE and MFE per trade on Plus and Pro — how far the position ran against you and for you before it closed: BTC, ETH and LINK as estimates without a key, other coins with your own free Massive key (Settings → Market data)
- Notes, tags and strategies per trade, plus chart screenshots saved to your account on Plus and Pro
- AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader on Pro
5. What doesn't import
- Funding payments — they are in a separate file, funding_history.csv
- Deposits, withdrawals, transfers and staking
- Spot dust conversions
Questions
Why are my perps called BTC-PERP?
So a perp and a spot trade in the same coin stay apart. Spot pairs keep Hyperliquid's own name.
Are liquidations included?
Yes. A liquidation, auto-deleveraging or settlement is a fill in the file, and it closes the position it hit at the fill price.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. Basic is free: 100 trades per calendar year (imported or entered) on one trading account, with no card. Plus adds unlimited imports and accounts, chart screenshots, MAE/MFE and a price chart of each trade; Pro adds AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader. You can try Pro free for 14 days, once per account, with no card.
I trade on another platform too.
NeoTLog reads exports from 60+ platforms, and on Plus and Pro several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
