Import your cTrader trades into a journal
Export the History tab from cTrader Desktop, drop the file into NeoTLog, and each closed deal arrives with entry, exit, volume, swap, commission and the broker's own net figure.
1. Export your trades
- In cTrader, open the Trade Watch panel and go to the History tab.
- Select All History or choose the date range you want to export.
- Right-click the History table columns and make sure all available columns are selected.
- On cTrader Desktop, click the arrow next to Statement and choose Export to Excel or Export to CSV. On cTrader Web the Statement button only offers View or Send to email, so export from the desktop app.
- Upload the exported file here.
The export is Desktop-only. On cTrader Web the Statement button offers View or Send to email and nothing else. To get a file, open the same account in the desktop app.
Only the columns you can see are exported. Right-click the History table and switch on everything before exporting, or the file arrives missing the fields the importer needs.
2. What the file looks like
This is the real header row, with one row of sample data underneath it:
ID,Order ID,Symbol,Opening Direction,Closing Direction,Opening Time (UTC+1),
Closing Time (UTC+1),Entry Price,Closing Price,Closing Quantity,Closing USD Volume,
Swap,Commission,Gross USD,Net USD,Balance USD,Pips,Requested Quantity,Channel,Label,

Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.
NeoTLog reads the symbol, opening and closing direction, opening and closing time and price, closing quantity, and the net figure — including the parenthesised Gross (USD) and Net (USD) variants cTrader writes when your account currency differs.
3. Import it
- Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
- Open Import and choose cTrader.
- Drop in the file. The date format is preset to YYYY-MM-DD; the preview shows you straight away if your export uses another one.
- Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.
4. What you get
Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, max drawdown
- Equity curve, P&L calendar by day and week, and time-of-day and session breakdowns
- Commissions and fees, wherever the export carries them
- MAE and MFE per trade — how far the position ran against you and for you before it closed
- Notes, tags and strategies per trade, plus screenshots saved to your account
- AI performance reports and the screenshot SL/TP reader on the paid plans
5. What doesn't import
- Order History — the History tab holds deals, which is what a journal needs
- Open positions, deposits and withdrawals
- Summary-only statements
Questions
Which brokers does this cover?
Every broker that runs cTrader — IC Markets, Pepperstone, FxPro, FP Markets, Axiory, BlackBull, Deriv and the funded firms built on it. The export is the platform's, not the broker's.
HTML, XLSX or CSV?
All three import. HTML is the safest on cTrader Desktop because it always contains the full table; CSV depends on which columns you had visible.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. The free plan includes 100 imports per calendar year and needs no card. Paid plans add AI performance reports, the screenshot SL/TP reader and unlimited imports.
I trade on another platform too.
NeoTLog reads exports from 50+ platforms, and several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
