Import your Bitget trades into a journal
Export your futures order history or spot fills from Bitget, drop the CSV into NeoTLog, and every order is matched into round trips with statistics and a P&L calendar.
1. Export your trades
- On the Bitget website (the app has no export), open the data export page: bitget.com/asset/export/downOrders.
- Choose Within 6 months (at most 10,000 records an export) or All time, then under Accounts pick Futures orders with the type Order history and USDT-M Futures (or USDC-M); for spot, pick Spot orders with the type Order details.
- Choose the period and CSV, click Generate, then Refresh, and click Download under Export history (the link works for 7 days). If the download is a ZIP, unzip it.
- The times are in the UTC offset your computer had on the day you exported: pick that offset (GMT+2, say) as the file timezone when you import, not a city, whose daylight saving would move the other season’s trades by an hour.
Fees: only the closing fee is in the file. NetProfits is the realized P/L minus the closing fee, so that fee is known. The opening fee and funding are in no export of known layout, so a futures trade's fees are marked unknown — add them to the trade, or set a fee rule.
Spot: Order details. For spot, export Order details: one row per fill, with the fee and its coin; a purchase pays its fee in the coin bought, converted at the fill price. Spot Order history imports too, without fees — import one or the other, not both, or every spot trade is counted twice.
Times are in your computer's offset. Bitget writes every time in the one UTC offset your browser had when you exported, with no zone marked. Set the file timezone to that offset on import — GMT+2 for a summer export from Central Europe — rather than a city, whose daylight saving would move the other season's trades by an hour.
Built from the documented format. This importer follows Bitget's export as its documentation and open-source tools describe it, and is tested against that layout — not yet against a file from a NeoTLog user. If yours does not import cleanly, send it to support@neotlog.com and we will fix the importer.
2. What the file looks like
This is the header row the importer is tested against, with one row of sample data underneath it:
Date,Order ID,Direction,Coin,Futures,order source,Transaction type,Price,Average Price,
Order amount,Executed,Trading volume,Realized P/L,NetProfits,
Status
2026-09-14 15:02:44,1401234567890987654,Close short,USDT,ETHUSDT,GTC,Market,,2431.2,
0.5,0.5,1215.6,9.65,8.92064,
fully executed
Wrapped here for reading — in the file each row is one line.
This is the futures Order history: one row per order. NeoTLog reads Date, Order ID, Direction (Open long, Close short and so on), Futures, Average Price, Executed (the filled size, in coins), Realized P/L and NetProfits. Orders that filled nothing are skipped, and a long and a short on the same contract are kept apart, as hedge mode holds them.
3. Import it
- Create a free NeoTLog account, or log in.
- Open Import and choose Bitget.
- Check Date format: it is preset to YYYY-MM-DD. If your export writes dates another way, change it first, then drop in the file.
- Set the file timezone if the export does not carry one, then import. Duplicate rows from an overlapping date range are detected, so re-importing a wider export later is safe.
4. What you get
Fills are matched first in, first out into closed round trips, so an entry scaled in over several orders and out over two becomes one trade with one average entry, one average exit and the right quantity. From there:
- Net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, max drawdown
- Equity curve, P&L calendar by day and week, time-of-day and hold-time charts, and a filter for each trading session
- Commissions and fees, wherever the export carries them
- MAE and MFE per trade on Plus and Pro — how far the position ran against you and for you before it closed: BTC, ETH and LINK as estimates without a key, other coins with your own free Massive key (Settings → Market data)
- Notes, tags and strategies per trade, plus chart screenshots saved to your account on Plus and Pro
- AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader on Pro
5. What doesn't import
- Coin-M futures
- Position history, and the Transactions files (balance changes and funding)
- Unified Trading Account exports, until a real file confirms their layout
Questions
Why are my futures fees marked unknown?
The order history holds each close's fee but not the opening fee, so a trade's total isn't known. Add it to the trade, or set a fee rule for Bitget, and the net P&L uses it.
ZIP or CSV?
Bitget sometimes packs the export into a ZIP, now and then with a password shown in the export history. Unzip it and upload the CSV inside.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. Basic is free: 100 trades per calendar year (imported or entered) on one trading account, with no card. Plus adds unlimited imports and accounts, chart screenshots, MAE/MFE and a price chart of each trade; Pro adds AI performance reports, the AI assistant and the screenshot SL/TP reader. You can try Pro free for 14 days, once per account, with no card.
I trade on another platform too.
NeoTLog reads exports from 60+ platforms, and on Plus and Pro several accounts can live in one journal. The guides are listed on the import page.
